Finally! Upcoming Suzuki Ertiga Features leaked | 360 Camera, Sunroof, Touchscreen, Ventilated Seat

Are you ready to hear the story of the car that is going to take the Indian roads by storm? I am talking about the Upcoming Suzuki Ertiga, which is going to be launched in India soon. It is not just an MPV but is going to be the most trusted companion of your family.

But wait! Will this car really compete with the new Kia Carnival, Toyota Rumion or Innova? In today’s video, we will explore the new features, engine, mileage, looks, safety and price of the Upcoming Suzuki Ertiga 2025.

And we will compare it with the big players in the seven seater segment. And maybe this new Kia Cars can create problems for Clavis, Rumion, Innova and XUV 700, let’s see how.

Engine details

First of all, let’s talk about the engine of the new Suzuki Ertiga 2025. Maruti has given it an upgraded 1.5 liter K-15 C Smart Hybrid petrol engine, which now gives one hundred and five horsepower and 140 nm torque.

In the CNG variant, this engine produces 90 horsepower. These numbers sound technical, but understand it this way, whether it is the jam packed roads of Delhi or the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, this car will take your family without getting tired.

The Kia Carnage’s 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 115 horsepower, which is slightly more powerful but lags behind the Ertiga in terms of mileage. The Toyota Rumion, on the other hand, uses a rebadged version of the same engine, so the performance is almost the same.

Innova’s 2.0 liter engine is more reliable, but costs twice as much. If you go on highway trips with your family every weekend, then Ertiga’s balanced engine will suit your pocket and needs. Let’s now see how well it performs in terms of mileage.

Mileage

The petrol variant of the Upcoming Suzuki Ertiga 2025 claims to give 21kmpl and the CNG variant 27kmpl. That is, you can complete the round trip from Delhi to Agra for Rs 800 in CNG and Rs 1200 in petrol.

However, the mileage in the city can be 16 to 18kmpl. Still, these figures are great in the 7 seater segment. If compared to Kia Cars, it gives 16 to 18 kilometers per liter.

If you want to save your pocket from getting lighter at the petrol pump, then the Upcoming Suzuki Ertiga 2025 is your true friend. The petrol variant will get 6 speed manual and 7 speed automatic transmission, while the CNG will be available only in manual.

Interestingly, Maruti is testing twelve AH battery pack with ERTIGA Cruise Hybrid in Indonesia, and this strong hybrid technology may come to India as well. I believe, this engine is so smooth that even your cup of tea will not spill on a long journey.

Smart Features And Interior

The cabin of the upcoming Suzuki Ertiga 2025 will look like a currency bust. There are 10-inch Smart Play Pro Plus touch screen with wireless Android Auto, Apple Car Play and Suzuki Connect features.

Dual tone beige black interior and leather seats will give it a premium feel. Wireless charging will also be available. 360 degree camera and ventilated front seats will be available in top variants.

There are Type C USB ports in the second and third rows and roof mounted AC vents so that kids can watch IPL even while sitting in the back.

Fifty-fifty foldable third row seats and up to 850 litres of boot space, means you can carry everything from Diwali shopping to granny’s suitcase. But the third row can be a bit cramped for adults on long journeys.

This interior is a dream for family trips, but if you want a sunroof then the Kia Carrera wins the race. The Kia Carrera has a sunroof and more premium leather seats that give it a luxurious feel. The Renault Triber’s cabin is budget friendly, but lags far behind in features.

For example, if you travel long distances with kids, the rear AC vents and USB ports on the Upcoming Suzuki Ertiga will keep their tablet gaming on point, whereas this feature is missed in the Triber.

New Look and color

This car is like your old friend has come wearing a new designer kurta. The new chrome wing grill, full LED headlamps and C-shaped LED tail lamps give it a modern look.

Sixteen inch diamond cut alloy wheels and roof rails give it an SUV like road presence. The design of Kia Carnival is more bold and SUV like which appeals to the youth. The look of Toyota Rumion is similar to Ertiga, but less chrome makes it simpler.

The XUV 700 has a road presence like a big SUV, which leaves the Ertiga behind. For example, if you want to make the groom enter the wedding in a car, then the XUV 700 will make more noise. But the style of the New Ertiga is perfect for family outings.

Safety features

In terms of safety, the Upcoming Suzuki Ertiga 2025 does not compromise. It has six airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Program, ESP, 360-degree camera and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

ADAS level two features like lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control can be found in the top variants. But one thing is a bit concerning. The old Ertiga got a three star rating in the Global NCF, while the XUV 700 got five stars.

Maruti claims that the safety rating of the upcoming Suzuki Ertiga will be better. If you give priority to safety, then also keep an eye on the upcoming Kia Carnival or Toyota Innova. However, for everyday use, the safety package of the upcoming Suzuki Ertiga is reliable.

The Kia Creta also has six airbags and ADAS features, but its safety package is more premium. The Renault Triber lags behind with just two airbags and basic safety features. The Mahindra XUV700’s five-star NCAP rating makes it a leader in safety.

Updated Pricing details

The estimated ex-showroom price of the Upcoming Suzuki Ertiga 2025 can start from nine lakhs and go up to fourteen lakhs. CNG variants will be between 11 lakh 50 thousand and 13 lakhs.

Let’s compare it with the big players in the 7 seater segment. Kia Cress, Rs. 10.60 lakh to Rs. 19.66 lakh. More premium features and sunroof, but trails behind Ertiga in mileage. Kia Cress Clavis, upcoming model, from Rs. 11 lakh.

With new design, features and premium interiors, it will give a tough competition to Ertiga. Toyota Rumion 10.54 lakh to 13.80 lakh. Rebadged version of the upcoming Suzuki Ertiga, but a little more expensive and with less features. Renault Triber 6.65 lakh to 8.50 lakh.

Budget 7 seater, but smaller engine and less premium feel. The Upcoming Suzuki Ertiga dominates the 7 seater segment as it topped the list in April 2025 by selling 15780 units, beating Mahindra Scorpio which sold 15534 units.

But the competition is going to be tough with the Kia Carnage and the upcoming Clavis. If you want a budget friendly MPV then the upcoming Suzuki Ertiga is the best, but for premium features and safety the XUV 700 or the new Carnage Clavis may be better.
